As far back as winning AB’s Best Cheerleaders in high school to now at 73 (a number I have no time to dwell on) and being the Queen of a Red Hat Society chapter, I’ve always enjoyed standing out. My clothing choices and accessories have been my go to, to fulfill this personality trait.

Born in Calgary, where I’ve lived all my life, I do support the Calgary Stampede and the western dress that goes with it - however, I learned long ago, I dress for me. Having my style choice appreciated is a bonus. I radiate in Kate Hewko’s fabulous fashion and can’t have enough, as my closet proves!

Whether being gussied up for an event or a casual outing, I have multiple outfits both strangers and my husband of 37 years, compliment me on every time I wear them.
