Can we first acknowledge that you’ve somehow made a blouse from what appears to be approximately 7,000 tiny roses without making the wearer look like an upholstered Victorian sofa?
I bought this beauty in black, and it is f$!%ing stunning.
It’s one of those rare pieces that can effortlessly move between two very different versions of my life.
Paired with jeans and patent loafers, it’s perfect for a casual 4 p.m. beer and a light dinner—which, in my experience, means one drink, several appetizers and eventually wondering why it’s dark outside.
Put it with a beautiful skirt and heels, and suddenly she’s ready for a Broadway production, cocktails and cultured conversation.
The shirt is cultured ... however, I remain under review.
The texture is incredible, the fit is gorgeous and photographs simply do not capture how special it is. It’s dramatic without being ridiculous, sophisticated without becoming stuffy, and artistic without looking like it’s desperately seeking applause.
It also performs a small miracle: I am naturally a little feral. I swear at automatic doors when they fail to acknowledge me. I become personally offended by self-checkouts. And I firmly believe a cold beer on a patio is a legitimate personality trait.
This blouse doesn’t change any of that. It simply makes me look refined enough to get away with it.
My closet has officially become less of a storage space and more of a Kate Hewko museum. I’ve stopped asking whether I need another…

So, every time I think I'm going to behave and not shop, Kate creates another piece that is a must have. This shirt is beautiful. Blush pink could not be a better color for this either. And the dramatic sleeves. Chef's kiss. It's a one size, but as always, it's not "one size fits all" just os. I am 5'2, 135 lbs (size D cup for those curvy girls fearful of buttons) and typically fit a size 6/8 or M. This fits me fine. Not tight and not too loose. The buttons all button and there is no puckering. I was afraid with my smaller stature that I would feel like I was drowning in it, but I do not. It is stylish and so pretty for spring and summer. Dress it up or dress it down.

A "general size guide" doesn't ever truly work in the fashion world because of fabric and fit (stretch, oversized, bodycon, tailored, etc.). Make sure to measure yourself and reference the tape icon on each product page to get the best fit.
