I wasn’t so sure about this, as I’m quite busty, & anything pleating near the neckline tends not to flatter, but one gal posted a video showing how the neck can be adjusted, so I decided to try it.
Glad I did! It’s so nice to have something that can be worn many different ways in such a breathable version. (Have become such a lover of natural fibers, especially as those fun flashes have increased!)
I wear XL - sometimes even prefering 2XL or a 1X because I can’t stand things being tight. Even for me, the L in this is generously sized, with plenty of room to spare. And it’s long, but lightweight, so tucks easily.

I don’t like things high up on my neck so was hesitant on this. I saw the video in the description and noted you could tighten or loosen the neck so decided to try it. Turns out to be amazing. it is not at all tight to the neck even when you tighten the neck cord. You can play with the look because of the ability to tighten or loosen it. As others noted it is huge but the size lets you play with the neckline and fit. I went with my usual size (medium) and once I adjust the neckline it is fine. Fun statement piece. Really enjoy wearing it.

My favorite new Kate Hewko top.! Looks fab and can style it many ways. Great material and I like the raw seams on the sleeve. I usually wear a 10 /M in tops but the M was huge so returned for the small and it fits perfect. Just ordered the white one!

A "general size guide" doesn't ever truly work in the fashion world because of fabric and fit (stretch, oversized, bodycon, tailored, etc.). Make sure to measure yourself and reference the tape icon on each product page to get the best fit.
